Water quality for consumption and bathing in springs with different soil cover in the Rio Grande watershed

Land use and occupation by agriculture urbanization generate several impacts on the natural environment water quality in a watershed is main parameter capable of reflecting consequences anthropogenic activities that occur this location. Protecting resources their tributaries utmost importance for preservation nature health population relation to direct indirect consumption water. In sense, objectified with research was analyze bathing springs (N1, N2, N3, N4, N5 one outfall, Foz),) different soil cover Rio Grande watershed. Water collections were performed monthly over period year physical, chemical bacteriological parameters evaluated. The data obtained submit statistical analysis results showed sources N1 N2 had lowest values turbidity, color, biological oxygen demand (BOD) pH, being latter very close neutrality. spring N3 others, presented lower temperature dissolved oxygen. indicated having best physical parameters. All outfall some type contamination risk using these waters. Finally, show presence vegetation around influences springs.
